This lady at my work just said, “You have a pretty nice job, don’t you?”
I can’t decide if she was being serious or sarcastic.
On the one hand, I work at a spa and she was about to get in the jacuzzi and she was probably thinking about how pleasant it was and maybe she thinks working here must be pleasant and relaxing and stuff.
On the other hand, I was carrying a hamper full of dirty towels and wearing my silly little uniform at 7:30pm on a Saturday….
Yeah, she was being sarcastic.
(To be honest, though, I really do like working here.)
Do you get to do free treatments there? That would make it a pretty nice job, no? I got curious about the uniform… ahahha
